This area is close to the beginning of The LBI Wildlife Preserve and has some benches to enjoy the spectacular views. There is also a jetty here that people fish from, and you can see the Atlantic City Casinos in the distance on a clear day, and also a scenic view of The Wildlife Preserve from this point.

The LBI Beach Is Great For Families

| Maggie & her daughter Laura have stayed at Lorry's 4 times. Laura said that "Lorry's is her favorite motel. She loves Room #7, because it is the first room she ever stayed in on vacation, and it has 2 Queen Beds!". Laura saw 20 dolphins at the Wildlife Preserve beach swimming side by side so close to shore that she saw their fins and bodies!

Maggie loves LBI and Lorry's Motel is her favorite and Only Place to stay while visiting Long Beach Island. Maggie also said, "The Area Is Great For Kids, there are very few cars, very little traffic, very few people, the people are very friendly and Lorry's Motel Managers bend over backwards to make your stay at Lorry's Motel Great!"

Beachwheels are wheelchairs with big tires to help the disabled go to the beach and be pushed thru the sand. They are FREE from Long Beach Township Beach Patrol and available weekly, but you must make a reservation in advance. Please call the LBT Beach Patrol to have your Beachwheel delivered to Lorry's Motel.
