Also, Lorry's Motel has a bike rack for 23 bicycles in our rear parking lot where you can lock your bicycles.
There are 3 options to bicycle & have fun exercising at Lorry's:

These LBI bicycle lanes are within the white lines on both sides of Long Beach Blvd. and run for 2 miles each way to Beach Haven, NJ for A Total Of 4 Miles Of LBI Bicycle Lanes. They go from The Wildlife Preserve Parking Lot (Only 1 Street From Lorry's Motel) to Beach Haven, NJ and back. They are used for biking, walking, jogging & roller blading, etc. on LBI.

Holgate Bay Beach & Playground Within Walking Distance Of Lorry's Only 3 Short Streets Away.
This LBI Bay Beach has a children's playground, a tennis and basketball court, plus you can go fishing and clamming. Exit Lorry's Motel and turn right towards the Bay. Go only 75 feet and make the first right on West Avenue. Continue for only 3 streets to the dead end and Holgate Bay Beach is on the left. There is some parking if you want to take your car and a bicycle rack to park your bikes.

Nelson Avenue Park Near Lorry's Motel On Long Beach Island, NJ
Just a short drive from Lorry's Island End Motel. This park features a playground for children, basketball court, handicap child play area, and has a roller rink for hockey and inline skating. It also has restrooms and benches. Exit Lorry's Motel, turn left, when you reach the boulevard turn left again. Go approximately 1.2 miles and see Boardwalk Rentals, turn left onto Nelson Avenue. You will see the park on your right.
Bay View Park In Brant Beach - Long Beach Island, NJ
Brant Beach is bayside across from Long Beach Twp. Municipal Building at 68th Street & Long Beach Boulevard. This LBI beach has a large children's playground, basketball court, volleyball nets and wind surfing. Across the street are 2 tennis courts, a walking/jogging track, a baseball field & rest rooms.

Taylor Avenue Park In Beach Haven, NJ On Long Beach Island, NJ
This park is on the bayside at the end of Taylor Avenue and features a beautiful protected LBI Bay Beach. It is located in the center of Beach Haven, NJ behind Bay Village Shopping Area. It features a swimming beach, kiddie playground, basketball court, gazebo, restrooms and municipal boat ramp. To reach this park - exit Lorry's and turn left, at the Boulevard turn left again. Travel approximately 2 1/2 miles, when you see the Thundering Surf Golf Course on your left, turn left. Take Taylor Avenue straight down to the bay.

Bicentennial Park In Beach Haven On Long Beach Island, NJ
Bicentennial Park is across the street from The Surflight Theater and The Show Place Ice Cream Parlor. There is a museum located directly across the street from this park and there are Free LBI Concerts during the summer months in the park. To reach this park you exit Lorry's Motel, turn left on Washington Avenue, turn left onto Long Beach Boulevard, turn right onto Engleside Avenue proceed for one block, the park is on your right, and the museum is on your left at the corner.
